From the movie which most people did not appreciate the beauty of, " Phantom of the Opera"; opera singer, mysterious, lonely, yet talented and charming, the Phantom, took the viewers breath away with deep intense eyes plus his dark side with a low deep voice to go with it. Fact file, do you know that the actor who played Phantom had no musical background and was only trained when he signed the contract for this particular movie?!! * Applause applause* Let me present to you The Phantom of the Opera!!!

Well that was one of his later movies, he started acting in 1997 and one of his major appearance in Holloywood biz was starring opposite Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life and also Tomorrow Never Dies. A trivia bit about this handsome hunk, while filming a movie in London, he was having a picnic with his mom when he heard a yell coming from a boy who was swimming in a river neaby. He automatically jump in and saved the boy earning himself a "Certificate of Bravery" from the Royal Humane Society!! An actor and a knight in shinning armour( real life)!! *faints*

How about the great Spartan King Leonidas from 300?!! I am sure everyone has watched it!! *ahhhh!!!* The tough 8!! packs stomach and broad shoulders with tough tough arms not to mention the outfits...*yum* Anyhow from an opera singer to the guy who yells " This is SPARTA" or " Tonight we dine in hell!!", a guy who leads only 300 men with a burning undying hope and spirit!! Hehe you get the picture! I felt inspired to write about him. I personally felt he played his characters really well and there was a variety! Presenting the King of Sparta, King Leonidas

A thousand apologies to those who actually find the time to visit my blog. Thank you for doing so and so sorry for not updating my blog. I have been going through hell for the pass month with lots of assignments, projects and other things as well. Therefore I decided not to bore you readers with updates of my dull and sorrowful life. Besides, I have been hit by the writer's block bug again. Have not been having any inspirations to write and when i do, i am not in front of my computer therefore the thought leaves me. Ah joy joy!

You know how there are so many safe sex advertisements around us trying to outdo each other to get to the thick heads of teenagers? Well do they actually make an impact or an impressions on you? Not really.... Some are so dull!!! Unprotected sex may lead to aids and to pregnancy then your not only ruining your life but the life of an innocent child also...LOL like we do not know already...

We teens nowadays are something like a new found breed of humans... You tell us something, we go and do the exact opposite!! Isn't that amazing? We are hard headed and stubborn and if you want to get to us THERE IS A WAY!! ( all hope is not loss). An example...

~Something I took On~

Since I have left good ole Ipoh, and found myself in the hustle and bustle of KL where people (especially college students) sleep in during the afternoon and are up and about at night I found myself "chilling" quite often at Asia Club where there are tons of pool tables. I have never played pool before while I was in Ipoh, so it explains when I first held a cue stick, I was nervous, shy and awkward.... But thanks to a few patient friends, I've learn and got better.

Pool is all about skills, and I can't say that I have mastered them. I am nowhere near it actually. I play pool with my luck and my gut feeling!!! Yea gut feeling!!! Well sometimes I get very lucky and everything goes the way i want to and sometimes....

Lol but that does not mean I suck at playing pool. I do get lucky very often. I might even pass off as knowing what i am doing...lol Nway I do know what I am doing. Cheh when I am on a streak, sometimes I pocket in all the balls and left the single 8 black ball on the table, I am this close to victory, I take my position, bend down and aim, slide my cue stick back slowly and....

Haha...an unlucky one... This often happen to me... But hey I do not suck at pool ok!!! Wanna try me?? Come la!!! hahaha...

The GO Internatinal Group Family Dinner

My first company's annual dinner, well since there are so few of us we prefer to call it our family reunion dinner!! We were all so busy for Christmass, then had the event for NYE therefore we only had time for our family dinner last Friday. A simple Chinese meal at "Paris"...

Like every year and everywhere it has become like a tradition to have a secret santa where people would draw lots and buy a gift for the person whose name is on the paper you drew. You would then become the secret santa for that person. Aw...so sweet... so our company did that too...I was the secret santa for Caren and Julya was the secret santa for me!!!

Nikki got two mini measuring tape from Edwin for her crazy interest in measuring things...and no not THAT kinda things.

Jasmine took the other measuring tape which only can go 8 inches the longest and was amused by it. Now they are talking about THAT thing!!! Lol...During dinner i know!!!

Nikki also got a red thong from Edwin which was nicely folded in the petals of a rose. Looks really nice coz at first sight it looks like a rose only and then to find out that a naughty thong is hiding in it.

~Back in the office~

The morning after New Year's, woke up with a bad sore throat, head pounding, body aching, eyes dazed.... Walked around the apartment with a dreading feeling that I will get a fever soon! A ha!! True to my thoughts it came!!! Was sick the whole of Monday and Tuesday....Basically spent my New Year's day in bed sleeping... and feeling sick to the max!!!

A million thanks to B for taking care of me....I could barely move what more take care of myself...Felt so weak that i had to take an mc for wednesday...Rested well but when it came to Wednesday night, I COULDN'T sleep!!! Only slept at 7 then i had to get up to go to work!!!! Darn tired now while typing away to get my mind working.... Body feels like it weights 10,000 kilos... and my eyes would not open if it is not forced to... So so tired! COmpany's dinner tomorrow and we have this secret santa thing which reminds me I have not gotten the present for the dinner!! darn it!! I need sleept!!! Might just take a nappa while noone is here!!

p/s: SHIT!!!! I lost my radio on NYE!!!! Someone nicked it.!! Gimme back!!! it was a good radio!!! Sniff sniff

Hustle and Bustle of NYE!!

Been so busy lately firstly for Christmas then now the coming New Year!!! It is 3.40am now on NYE and I am so darn tired...Well bare with me as i rant my week's activities...Everyday planning and organizing my event! Worrying about publicity and ticket sales!! Going out to hand out flyers and all then Friday was my friend Sabrina's birthday so after work, rushed there and then had dinner chill for awhile then it is home. At home did laundry wait for leon to finish his rehearsal then off to bed at about 4am.

Sat morning, 10am woke up and went to Nadeem's place for dance practise which lasted till 6pm then went home took a shower and off to John's house for his Christmas+ NYE dinner! I tell you the food there was GREAT!!! DEEELICIOUS!!! John's dad was a chef!!! well that explains all...Came back about 1.30am, bath then swept and mop the whole living room and my room, did the dishes and throw out the rubbish. Why the sudden burst of "rajiness" you might ask? Well my friends from Ipoh are coming down to visit so must keep the house presentable la! haha...

AND NOW i am blogging how nice!!! Tmrw I have to wake up at 9am travel to KL to decorate and help out around the place for the NYE bash we are having!!! Then more publicity, then sound check and stage preparation with performers, i am in charge and also performing!!! How nice!! haha...then the IndieGo Bash then.....New Year's Eve party!!! Mondo Carnaval!!! yay!!! Gosh i am gonna be so dead tired!!! help!!!

I just realised it is getting so near to year 2007 and i have not made my new year's resolutions....2007 will be a good year...besides it has my favourite number at the end! Well here goes:-

1. The usual, to do way better for exams since it is the final semester!!! Must keep up my CGPA
2. To quit .............. ( those of you should know)
3. To buy a corset top. Preferbly the one from GUESS that i had my eyes on! hehe
4. To be more indepandent and self reliant
5. To read the newspapers everday! ( yes i am in mass comm and i dun read the newspapers everyday so sue me )
6. To meet more people way more
7. To appreciate each day as it comes and live it to the fullest
8. Be spontaneous and do something which i do not plan out firsthand
9. Go on a trip with my friends and have a blast!!
10. I WANNA SHOP!!!! Been long since i last shop!!
11. Update my blog as often as possible and try to make it not so dull so i wont kill my readers just through my blog
12. Get Edwin to draw a carricature of me!!! He owes me
13. Do more spontaneous things with B!
14. Work!! So i can get the money to shop
15. Get enough of sleep!! haha like that will happen
16. Love me mummy and me daddy and me sister too!!!

Gosh better sleep now!! It is sooo late and i already have a long day ahead of me tmrw!
Will update my list if I find the time too and might take some off the list. Does not make sense..lol...

~Christmas Came n Went~

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Well in a snape of a finger we are looking at the end of year 2006!! Can you believe it? As i remembered I was on the highway thinking whoa it is already February of year 2006 and suddenly 'wham' its Christmas!!! Well I was really looking forward to Christmas, not so much for the gifts and all but to go home to Ipoh for a break!!

I had an early Christmas present!! Haha if you would call it a present!! I went to see my worst nightmare! THE DENTIST!! If you had been around me, you would notice that I have been complaining about my wisdom tooth for quite some time now. Well it has been like more then 3 months now...haha yes i drag it that long and finally gathered up my guts and went! Got three injections, whole mouth was numb and had big huge tools inserted to my mouth! Would spare you the gory details, basically my gum now is all stitched up but thank god there is NO pain!! Happy happy me!!

So back in Ipoh i am!! (lol i sound like Yoda now). Basically it is sleep sleep, tv, going out and eating!! haha!! Met up with my high school mates! Gosh I missed them dearly!! Christmas Eve was the busiest for me. The night before I went for a sleepover at my friend's house, no it is not the finger painting, hair braiding, kind of sleepover, more like chit chatting catching up on old times, watching movies then sleeping. Slept at 6am!! then woke up at 11am went back home and more sleeping! Got up at 2pm got ready and met up with my friends at CopaBanana for tea!

Then it was off to Priscilla's open house dinner in the evening!! There was buffet dinner plus BBQ lamb and chicken!! YUmz!! With mint sauce and mushroom sauce mind you!! hehe...and for desert we had cheese cake and a kind of yogurt fruit desert! It was deeelicious!!!

Then it was off to church for me and Eli, but surprisingly Zhi, Yan Hua, Kum Yeen and Bala got excited and wanted to join us for the carols and mass!! Hehe so they followed us back home as me and Eli got ready, changed into our Christmas clothes and rushed off to Church to get good parking and also seats.

Mass went on as usual with carol singing and the normal service. My spirits were lifted with the carols! I love carols! especially the old ones!! Then after mass it was going to the back of church and greeting everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

After all that, went home and PRESENTS!!! Got a cute tank top from my sis, external speakers from my dad and $$ from mom...hehe she cant make up her mind what to buy!! Oh well better that way then i can get my own things!!! SHOPPING!!!

So in short Christmas this year was great! Was a little disappointed coz din have the western kind of dinner where u have turkey with stuffings, shephard's pie, quiche and lots more of mouth watering dishes!! Sniff sniff..but then again since when I do? haha... oh well!! I am gonna have a white christmas one day with all the food!!! hmph!!! That I will!!!

Nway MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY BOXING DAY!!!( can't believe i am working today) New Year coming soon!!! COME TO MY EVENT!! YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST!!! Another thing to look forward too!!
