Addictive??

Since ages ago whenever i hear the words Dota, Counter Strike, Starcraft and so on I would give a sigh and go GUYS!!! They would pay so much and have their butts stuck to the com chair for hours just to play online games.. People spend hours just gaming and i thought to myself what's the fun in that? Well i was wrong. Only lately, me and my friends went to the new Asia.Net cyber place which is very new, clean and nice to, try out Counter Strike just for the fun of it. My friend taught me how to play the game and yes laugh all you want I obviously sucked at first! According to Leon ( whom proudly annouces the story to any willing ear) the fact that by the time i buy the guns and ammo, he would be standing behind me with a knife stabbing me, or just waiting till i walked few steps then he will shoot me...Joy!! But i have to say it is addictive! Was hooked on it for awhile.

Then i moved on to Serious Sam! lol...Who would believe that.. Me!! Playing Serious Sam! But this game is like darn long.. takes hours to finish and if you leave you can't continue from where you stop so its all over again for you! Anyhow the latest unbelieveble game which got most people hooked to it is believe it or not, none other then O2 Jam!!! Oh my gosh!!! I can't believe it became a serious game! I remembered i was doing my assignment then i realised my apartment mate was playing a game and it looked interesting therefore i asked about it and found out that it was O2Jam. I transfered the game into my com and played only when im too stressed from assignments. More like a breather.

So as you can expect, I was at the cyber and my friends started playing it! At the cyber!!! and i looked around me and there were guys all around me playing that game too! I thought it was just a no brainer game that you play during you pass time to relax but NO! i found out that people do compete to upgrade their levels where they will get money to buy and design their character!!! WTH!!! lol...People are being more and more creative nowadays... Its so silly but now im hooked on it...So hooked till we would actually purposely go out our way to the cyber just to play O2Jam...Not Dota, Not CS but O2jam!! hahaha... and to Pay money for it too!!! What happened to assignments? ( what assignments =P ) I would give this change of interest one big laugh!!! LOL!! Damn funny le... You should try it...

Chocolate High!!

About last Saturday, I decided to call Tony out for lunch to catch up on old times. When he agreed and everything was planned he fetched me and told me he decided to go to Swensens for lunch! Not for the food but for ice-cream!! Ice-cream for lunch?!! I was never lucky enough to have that for lunch in my childhood. Parents would go on ranting about how it is not good for health, too much sugar is bad plus it does not have a blanced diet! Even having ice-cream before a meal is bad for it will spoil my appetite! Therefore I went all "are you serious?" and he said yea since he has not been there for some time now. So i got very excited! Not because i can eat ice cream for lunch mind you but because i have never been to Swensen!!! hehe...

So we finally reached, got our seats and i got all pressured for there were so many choices of ice-creams to pick from and the waitress is waiting for us next to our table, all hovering about us like a vulture getting impatient and ready to peck us if we were indecisive! hehe ok drama a bit le. So finally i mad up my mind and pick this chocolate ice cream ( ok sue me i forgot the name) and tony picked some banana split ice cream! GOsh i was sugar high by the end of the day! It was so full of chocolate and top up with chocolate sweets and chocolate chips! Gosh heaven! it was great on a hot Saturday afternoon! hehe. Below here are the visuals that will get your mouth watering!!

Thats mine! Look at the chocs!!! That's Tony's Banana Split!

Hehe hungry yet?!! Teehee

Live band n open mike session @ La Bodega

I was lucky enough to be invited for this event for if not so i would not have realised it existed, being the naive person i am. My friend Izham was performing for the open mike show and my college lecturer Mr Azmyl was also performing therefore I went to support them. It was mainly Indie music( i think thats how u spell it) and there were like 11 open mike shows and 5 guest performances. These guest performances, most of them have their own album already and some are damn good!

The ambience of the bar was great too as you can see in the pictures. It was very cozy and comfy as we laid back to listen to the performances. I solute them for having the guts and the talent to write and play their own music. Lol wished i was that talented. Look at how easily i gave up my guitar...hm i must continue playing it. Nway waited for my friend's performance and i was shocked to see how well he can sing, and i love my lecturer's performance! damn funny!! great guy!! I'm so proud hehe...

I loved the great experience. Made me appreciate local music more for there is raw talent going on there. There is this music cd called voices of malaysia ( if im not mistaken) go get it!! support them. I also fell in love with this guy's music, his name is Kevin Teh and he is damn good. Buy his album! Great songs... He sound a little like Alex Band! Oh well there is a next event coming up somewhere in early September and it would be their last at La Bodega for some "stupid" fella is turning it into a Steamboat Restaurant! wth!!! Oh well i wanna go and i wanna go for future events too so people, tell me if you know any!!!

A Starlight Experience

Somewhere around last week, Leon was lucky enough to get us four invites to watch the free movie screening of Click at Starlight Cinema!! Well being a first timer I was all excited about it. Lol and what and experience I got. Being naïve and excited I dressed up together with my new heels and all only to find out that it rained heavily at KL area! We rushed there to collect our free invites, registered, ( gosh it was sooo muddy! =( ) then went out for dinner. Trust me after all the mamak sessions I had here you would be surprise where we dine that night. It was none other then the traditional Chinese meal of Bak Kut Teh! It was good finally eating pork…hehe..dun blame me man im a Chinese!!! You should scold me for not eating enough pork!
So after dinner ( which cost a bomb), we went back, took out our plastic bags!! As “alas” for our asses and marched in looking for a good spot on the ground which was already crowded with people on mats. Whoa was I surprise to see how prepared some people were. People actually brought huge mats with big huge comfy pillows, picnic baskets…chairs and they looked all ready and comfy for the movie, where as looking at us sitting cross-legged on plastic bags which was not big enough to be comfortable was something to laugh at and remember. Finally the movie started and we were to engrossed to notice anything till little small insects started to climb up our legs or tickle our toes. I swear there were grasshoppers too…eek!!! Then they started biting!!! We ended up scratching all over!! Lol.. Comical…
All in all it was actually a good experience, something different from the mundane atmosphere of sitting in an air condition room with seats… You guys should go and check it out! Oh btw, the movie Click is great!!! Worth watching!! Good family values!! And as always any show with Adam Sandler in it is worth watching!
I’m out!
